May : Canary Island Date Palm
Phoenix canariensis
It is an iconic and majestic evergreen featuring a thick, upright trunk and a broad crown of deep green, feathery fronds.
Native to the Canary Islands, it adds a striking tropical presence to gardens and landscapes.
They look excellent as specimen trees, in avenues, or as focal points. Highly drought-tolerant, this palm thrives in full sun with low maintenance.

April : Crotons
Cadiaeum variegatum
With its stunning coloration, Crotons will add an exotic touch to your home or garden. Has large, glossy and vividly coloured leaves that come in a wide range of shapes and colours. A classic for any tropical, sub-tropical gardens.

March : Monstera Esqueleto
This rare plant has exceptional large leaves and prominent fenestrations. While its leaves resemble those of the usual Swiss Cheese plant when young they differ significantly in size and thickness.

February : Chinese Rain Bell
It’s a versatile, low maintenance, fuss-free plant. Needs an annual prune to maintain a bushy habit.
Native to South Asia, China, and Indochina, it is well adapted to our Darwin climate. Also known as Assam Indigo, it was historically cultivated on a large scale in India and China as a source of indigo dye and is also used in the traditional Chinese herbal medicine « Qingdai

January : Mrs George Davis Hibiscus
It’s a very popular evergreen shrub. Mrs George Davis is fast growing, great for privacy or to add a splashe of colour to your garden. It has full double-headed pink flowers, definitely one of my favorite hibiscus!
